But this underslung Dodge Roadster still gets me good. It's a hot rod that has a particularly sports car style appeal to it. Also, the green-on-cream just works so nicely.

The frame-flip and use of original bits is excellent.

No windshield, but a bar across the top like there is one? Maybe?

YES YES YES this made me fall in love with old hot rods. Flipped chassis, that big 440ci V8. This is one bad ass old Dodge.

Glass can be tough to find for pre-war stuff, especially stuff that isn't a Ford, and it can also be expensive to have custom cut. Not sure what the dela is here, though.

You know, I didn't realise how nice it was to see a hot rod that isn't black/dark brown. That looks really, really good.

I often like the muted browns, greys, and navy blues that often adorn hot rods, but it's really nice to find something with a little bit of pop that isn't also covered in billet aluminum and all of the awfulness that comes with the street rod scene. The green really sets off the cream for some reason as well.
